2014 What did you do to your Landcruiser lately?

Loving the sti scoop too. Can't wait to see what it all looks like put together!

Gotta thank Rob R. for helping me troubleshoot that scoop install -- and should thank Erik for the seam sealer (that he may not know yet that was taken while he was on the beach). The scoop was not quite as easy as I thought it would be -- however got it both glued and bolted down, so should put up with some major abuse.

That looks really good, Kelly. I like the white on orange and the monstaliner will be a nice touch when going down tighter trails.

Did you cringe as you scuffed up your brand new primer to put that on?

Actually, if you paint within a week of laying down epoxy primer, there is no scuffing or sanding needed, as you get a chemical bond. So far, I am happy with the results. Hopefully with the cooler weekend, I can get the rest of the rig scuffed and minor body work done.

I will share that the kids got a little sideways when I sanded off the "tony the tiger" stripes that they did last year. Josh is working me over to put a FOO Fighters logo on the hood. We shall see.

The logo in orange on the white hood would look pretty awesome...

If someone can put that onto a inverse decal, I would do it.

So, I need decal on the white portion of image, to use as masking for painting colored portion.

Even if anyone knows where we can get a big sheet of decal material...I could graph the image out and duplicate it no problem, then use an exacto knife to cut out the finished decal sections...

i had 2 types sitting there if colin had looked harder. self level and the other.. lookin great..

A guy at work has a plotter for his airbrushing. Even if it is not up and running I might be able to get some of the masking material he runs through it. How big would you want the emblem to be?

Don't know..... Have to think about it. Either a smaller (18" ?) on front corner of hood, or do I go all out with a 3'? centered..... Have to lay it out and see what it looks like.

I was thinking the big centered logo on the hood, but hadn't thought about the off-center smaller logo. Like that idea too, maybe even better. Maybe even with the logo rotated slightly. Like you said, layout would probably reveal.

Easiest way I know of to transfer and enlarge (without technology) is to graph out the smaller image. Then increase the same graph to a larger area (18" or 36"). Makes the larger copy perfectly proportional. I'll be happy to make the decal if we can get the material.

I am hoping to get much of it prepped this weekend, to spray or roll more color.... will be done before smorr.

I use Southern polyurethane's epoxy primer with a harbor freight spraygun. For sprain the liner I used to simple deschute gun.

Got porcupines. This is an area the prior owner probably needed sliders. Figured before I put the sliders back on, I would do a quick
repair.

I picked up one of there hopper style guns last week. I wasn't sure the liner would spray through an HVLP. It would be nicer though as I think the hopper type will be difficult to use on the hood and roof as well as the underside of the rockers.

Ok, finally got the image out to the garage.

Kind of like the bottom right corner option. Any thoughts guys?
