Thanks man.

Well, less than a week old and someone backed into it

As far as parking is concerned, I couldn't get out if I backed any further back (don't worry, I tried. Then made the decision to pull forward)

Spent Memorial Day weekend working on cargo drawers for the 100. Next up: installing a Cobra CB...never done one before and a little intimidated about pulling up the console but I guess there is only one way to learn!

Mike -That is crazy!! Nothing is bent though, correct?

Gearguy - I need to do the same - need to permanently install my Cobra - I just need to snake the cable through the firewall, though, I think - -the rest will just pop out the hole under my radio.

Might not be the kind of quality Kelly or Rob would put out, but had some extra plywood laying around and made a box for the back

Big enough to get just about everything including my toolbox (so I can fit my cooler next door)View attachment 901137

looks nice Jack, but all that matters is it works and you're happy

Rotated the tires today on her. Got over 5k on the tires so I figured it was time. Here's to hoping they make it as long as I own her

Trying to figure out how to run the antenna cable from my center console to the back of the vehicle. Hopefully that will fall into the "done this weekend category" in the next 48 hours :)

You want to do the shortest run possible. Want your coax as short as possible. Can you fish it under carpet? If you can't run it under carpet all the way back down the center, run it over to door jamb then under sill trim pieces. Then cut to length and solder new pl259 on. Fish tape and fiberglass sticks will help a lot, or straightened metal cost hanger.

Look what we got here.....I found this for my neighbor. Can't wait to start planing and building this with him and in a few months find one for my self
1976 FJ 40 aluminum tub original drivetrain steel hood and fenders. New soft top and door toppers. Engine was rebuild all the parts and pieces are there it's primed and frame has been stripped blasted and painted with heavy duty air craft paint. This thing is sweet.

Put a new exhaust from the cat back on the 80 yesterday and replaced a bad O2 sensor gasket today. I didn't realize how loud my exhaust was.

Went with the Bosal for a cheap fix. We'll see how well it lasts but it was only $213 shipped from Amazon. Only took about an hour and a half to do the whole thing.

Added a "customized" 8th seat to the 80 today...Eli James Culpepper was born Monday June 9th, our first addition to the family!
