If you drink enough, you won't care who's paying for it.

my wife will remind me that i care when i sober up the next morning.

Plus the TLCA rep is responsible for the TT copy aren't they? Also your e-mail gets clogged up with those BODREPS stuff. I'll be glad to pass that on to whomever takes over as leader...

Correction - anyone can send in the TT club report. I did the last one. And I think technically anyone can sign up for BODreps email list. I don't think it is a requirement for the BODreps conference call, but I could be wrong. If it is a requirement, I recommend signing up for a new, dedicated e-mail address with G-mail or Yahoo, just to siphon it off your "main" email Inbox. If you use G-mail or Outlook, you can also create a rule that dumps that traffic into a separate folder.

Whoever the contact listed in TT is on BOD reps along with others the contact requests, I don't think just anyone can be on that list. I do think that they don't remove old/past contacts.

I will put my name in for events...I can do that from down here.

Ok guys, a week from monday is election week and so far we don't have anyone running for president and treasurer. If you are interested please pm me with a nomination...

Someone call me and I can walk you through the Treasurer position. I've done it for 3 years... it's not that tough... really!

Some of you need to step up to the plate. I have worked my butt of helping run the club as well as others. It would certainly be nice for us to be able to enjoy the club.

i would accept the nomination but i don't make it to about 95% of the events, i feel that someone who is an elected official should miss maybe 1-2 events a year tops.

Unfortunately the wife/daughter just are not into the cruiser meets, trail rides or any off road events. Hopefully once my 3 yr old and the little boy we have on the way get older and are able to say "daddy we want to hang with the UC guys" i'll have more leverage in negotiating weekends away from the house.

Looks like you will have to come out of retirement early:hillbilly: or maybe see if you can dig up the Cuban:lol:

The Cuban has been learning how to eat dirt and live with the bugs. I don't think he is ever coming back.

I've spent 5 years helping run the club. I'm trying to sit back and enjoy someone else getting some experience.

I've been helping run safety & events since OTMT 2008. I did not go to every event I planned. In fact the only event I've been to since this time last year... has been GSMTR 2011 and Marshall's parts swap.

I'm not picking on you specifically, but your question is topical and I'm sure your hesitation is shared by several members. Just pointing out that the officers are not necessarily in attendance every month. Someone just needs to be the decision makers for the club and guide the events throughout the year.

With GSMTR off UC's shoulders, the responsibilities are drastically reduced.

well sign me up for whatever i can help with....i won't be able to make many meetings/events but i'm always avaliable to return emails/pm's or texts/phone calls.

sounds good MR. PRESIDENT:cheers:

keep the president thing on the low....since i left my church to attend my wifes church after we got married i am no longer part of the youth group leadership staff. If she hears that i've volenteered for a position here after i refuse to take any positions at church until the boys are older she might get a little angry!!!
