I am exploring the area next summer. Parts of it can be done. Need lockers and a winch to complete this. It's a multi day trail run with tent camping along the way. I am researching about the possibility. Let's see what it actually entails. It could be same thing that @Canyonero said about the difficulty level for Hells Revenge night before we were planning to drive that trail.I seem to remember you saying this was a not a destination for you...![]()
We're going EAST?!
Do I sense a 200 Convoy is needed?I sense a very long road trip from San Diego coming on...
Almost only counts in horseshoes, hand grenades and marriage. My rig was just "tilted". However I do appreciate you hoping up very quickly on my front bumper to redistribute some weight. In my defense about Hells Revenge - I was mostly concerned for OTHER drivers and rigs, not me! And also, a couple of trucks did almost flip over on their sides.
I'm interested in checking out the Rubicon Trail this coming summer as well. No reason to let all this armor and winch collect dust.
Cody, when are you going to let the cat out of the bag?![]()
Did part of the Rubicon last summer on my way home from Ouray, def harder then Hells RevengeI am exploring the area next summer. Parts of it can be done. Need lockers and a winch to complete this. Starting at about 7 minutes it gets interesting. Seems this would be a huge challenge for the size of the 200.
I can't find any videos of 200 series Land Cruisers actually running the Rubicon, can anyone else find any?
Here is another good one.
Those have got to be at least 37" tires on that green truck...with standard front axle. It looks like he needed every bit of them too...
I've breezed through his build...that's a purpose built rig...it's coolYes. He is running 37". He is a member here. @jcardona1
I'm inThose videos are hard-core. Who here has the cojones to take their 200 through there?
I would. I'd pull my winch cable before I even start my truck. Flip on the locker, turn on crawl control, front camera and go for it!
If the internet is right (it's never wrong), no one has done the full rubicon in a 200 and filmed it. Which, let's be honest, means it hasn't been done.
