Trollhole,
Is it possible to slip a sawzall blade in there and cut the cam bolts or did you have to actually cut the top and bottom of the LCA to get it to come out? I'm planning the swap - and am anticipating this issue rearing its ugly head...

We cut the arms. They were never going to be reused anyway. Will probably do it this way from now on.

Maybe the bolt was seized in too. That earlier pic was of my clean side. The other came out fine but you can see how bad the bolt is, and the insert is actually seized to the washer on the other side (this is where I thought using the old insert would help).

Man I wished they all were like that but so far every freaking one of them had to be cut out. Poor design on toyotas part.

So far my customer is really happy. WIll say stick with factory Toyota CV's. They hold up better. With the Icons and the amazing amount of lift they supplied I'd make sure you use a diff drop or you can get some driveline vibration under heavy load.

Used these for bump stops. Have to retap the hole. Energy Suspension Bump Stops 9-9101G

These in the rear. We ended up modifying the old bump stops by reusing the bracket. Energy Suspension Bump Stops 9-9104G

Truck was a good 2 inches taller than the last hybrid lift we did with Bilstein shocks and camburg arms.

Also this build we used OME coils in the rear. Go them from Kurt.

Lockers and brakes will be getting the full test son as he has a trip to Moab this month.

Marshall rocks.

Can you tell us more about the front bump stops referenced here?

My Timbrens in front limit uptravel than I'd like and I'm curious to know how those bumps compare.

Any comparative insights?

I ordered same coilovers for my Cruiser but Icon is on backorder until January 1st!!! I am dying to know if it was worth $3k running at stock height with stock spring.

Icons are totally worth it.
The ride is amazing.

agree with TexAz...... so worth it for the quality of ride and flexiblity....

Even with stock spring? I imagine it won't be as sporty driving

hmmm not sure on the travel as they are designed for 2" - and the fronts are coilovers so they use the Icon spring...

but they certainly are much sportier hadnling the stock.... and set of firm (10) if you get the CDC versions they are just plain crisp. especially if not running armour and larger tires...
