It’s a Toyota color. The code for the USA is called “salsa red”, in Australia the same code is used on current production 70-series and is simply “merlot”.

I've seen multiple 80s in that color, including my wife's 1995. They NEVER, EVER, looked that good.

This is a different color code than 3H4, If I recall correctly it is 3Q3. Yup.

I prefer the look of the OEM headlights, but the light output on them sucks compared to my 200 series. Hopefully the ARB bumper will tame the bling a little bit.

What did you do to massage it? My turn signal has that same intercooler interference

Turn signal, head light l, washer switch assembly all rebuilt.

Getting all four doors to this point before interior work.

The Morel speakers have a cross over in each door. We built this mount for them out of some aluminum.
