The unlimited lives code is up, down, up, down, left, right, left, right, A, B, A, B, select, and start. I think you already have unlimited ammo on Contra. I know you do on Super C. Not real necessary though because Contra and Super C can be played through without losing a life.@jomelo Do you happen to have the code for unlimited ammo in Contra? Up, down, up, down, left, right, left, right, up, up start. Something like that.
They’ve got some damn good ice cream too.Went for a sausage dog in the 80

That’s made not too far from you. Marianna I think.
It’s about halfway between me and Tallahassee. Been meaning to stop in there. I’ve only seen in sold at Bradley’sThat’s made not too far from you. Marianna I think.
I came back from college to find my mom sold mine in a garage sale. She was pretty excited when she told me she turned my dust in $50…That’s awesome. I still have my old Nintendo.
Can you elaborate a bit more on the above statement? Very curious as I'll be doing a similar build for long expo trips and comfort is high on my list.Took it on a 325 mile round trip on Monday as it’s much more comfortable for long distances than my 200 series.
I do not like the seats in the 200 series. I would snatch them out and replace with Scheelmann in a heartbeat if it would not Christmas tree the dash. Can you elaborate a bit more on the above statement? Also did you do the 10% overdrive gears in the transfer case? I've read this entire thread as it progressed but can't remember that detail. Lastly, what revs are you at when at 65 mph?
John,Today was oil change day. The truck has 5093 miles on the odometer and about 4300 miles since the break-in oil change. I’ve been driving it a fair amount recently so that I could get this oil change out of the way. Took it on a 325 mile round trip on Monday as it’s much more comfortable for long distances than my 200 series.

The truck has been running Mobil 1 10w-30 full synthetic oil.

The HPD catch can has not been emptied since last oil change. It was barely 1/4 full.

I really do not believe this particular oil will harm the engine over a 5,000 range. There are plenty of oil quality threads out there where ppl can go argue. People swap in 300k mile FTEs daily with questionable service and they run fine. This is a brand new engine that will see very low use. The only reason I hit 5,000 miles so quick is due to the drive back from Nebraska with @wngrog and I’m in the market for a new farm and have been taking this truck. Going forward, I will probably do oil changes at six month intervals. I might swap to a different Mobil 1 version after a little more research.John,
The expert opinion (not the manufacturer) recommend for the 1HDT/FT 15w40 oil (example - Delo for diesel engines). Is it different on the FTE?
I've put 60K miles on my FT since the conversion in 2.5 years and change oil fanatically every 3K miles. Oil is cheap compared to rebuilding the engine.
What range do you get on a full tank? I really curious about the difference performance of these two engines. On our last trip in September we did 9000 miles (406 gallons) across the US over a month and got 22.1mpg driving mostly on rural roads.
Cheers mate, you have an amazing rig.
Your what? That was a fun trip. It will be my peppermint pig story at Christmas

I usually fill up around the quarter tank mark and the odometer typically reads around 340-360. That’s probably around 365-390 with the conversion.
I had @SNLC install a center console from a LX450. I thought it was going to be cooler than it was but it turned out to be more of a liability. I gave up a great spot for a larger drink and did not really gain much. So I decided to go back to my original Toyota center console. Much better and I now have room for multiple drinks when I am carrying a passenger. I also switched over the ICOM and Switch Pro setup in the nifty setup @SNLC fabricated.

Great day overall. Shot some quail this morning. Finished the day in the arcade. I still have my Nintendo Power collection and like to scroll through and beat random games. Today was Super C. I remember when I got this game as a kid. Good times.
