My place. North Florida.When/where is this happening?
I was going to say the same thing. Every mustang dyno I've ever run me Evo on returned 10-15% lower numbers... and every shop that runs a mustang always calls their dyno the "heartbreaker dyno".
I wonder if that has to do with the pull being in 3rd gear or the ramp rate of the dyno or something because we typically see max torque at approx. 1800 rpm and max power at 3400-3600 rpm, 4th gear pull, and have found ramp rate between 5-7 km/h per second is necessary for a diesel because we want it to load up and make boost asap.
I'm trying to find @Indestructible 47 dyno graph to confirm because it was the last FTE we ran.
I’m down!My place. North Florida.
Cheers @SNLC wasn't trying to be disparaging or bashing what you've done at all - just interesting to compare processes and results between vehicles.First time I have used this dyno. First time I have ran a diesel on a dyno. First FTE we have installed-swapped.
John was pretty happy with it last weekend, as per his posts and extensive testing. That was 16psi. It is more than noticeably better now and he lives at a low elevation compared to here and last weekends test. We could hit 1150+* on the hardest pulls before at 16psi, due to fuel to boost setup. Now with more boost it’s dropped 200* or more.
We had a few other things that were not quite dialed in last weekend too like the clutch. That is fully dialed in now and we are working down our list till the Cruiser is 110%.
I have zero doubts that John is going to love and enjoy this Cruiser more than he already does. It’s that good and dialing everything in is making it noticeably better.
Cheers

I probably would have driven it back last week if given the chance. It was that good.First time I have used this dyno. First time I have ran a diesel on a dyno. First FTE we have installed-swapped.

Absolutely, I would say from our personal experience that a build like this is an iceberg...you can see 30% of what went into it.I know and please post the results you guys had. No worries at all my man.
As you probably know, there is A LOT that goes on behind the scenes in any build that shops-builders-regular guys don’t share. So was just trying to summarize a bunch of that.
Cheers
No worries and thanks for your input. I was just hoping to see 250-300 and around 500ftlbs. It may be with a part time kit in it.
Like I say drivability is what matters, that and EGTs. Both are real good.
Cheers
I don't really know what I'm talking about and there's probably more differences in driveline to account for, but I'm sure you saw these numbers from the Dirty30?
By my calcs: 213 hp and 573 ft-lbs
I say you lose at least 50% crank HP to the wheels here.No worries and thanks for your input. I was just hoping to see 250-300 and around 500ftlbs. It may be with a part time kit in it.

With the auto I would agree, with the manual it’s less. Then ya got full time 4wd, 35’s with stock gears, ect.
Anyways, I am sure you will see the Cruiser in person, you can decide for yourself.
Cheers
Ian, you guys had any thought about going part time with front wheel hub lock? It’s an easy change. With the auto I would agree, with the manual it’s less. Then ya got full time 4wd, 35’s with stock gears, ect.

In my experience, totally screws the superior driving dynamics of an 80 as opposed to it's competitors such as Patrol etc.Ian, you guys had any thought about going part time with front wheel hub lock? It’s an easy change.
