Just wait til you slap on a turbo. They aren't as cheap as a 3B
The turbo installation on the 1HZ will actually require less fabrications than the one on the 2H did and the shop is looking forward to the upgrade.

So this is for Rob's benefit? :)
Well he does enjoy his work but technically I'll be the one who benefits from the turbo installation.

The turbo setup will cost you C.
Trust me, it will cost you if you do it correctly and cleanly.
The stainless 3" exhaust is expensive even from a DIY perspective.

So have we added anything "substantive" to this thread or is all of this merely heresay?

And is the truck in possession yet?

And have you actually driven it Charles?

Till either of the above occur all of this is arm-chair quarterbacking.

Onur -
Good questions and comment. I quit reading this thread when Charles said he didn't like my wheel / grille suggestions. Hurt my feelings ALMOST as bad as his comments about my engine swap.

Charles if you have not realized they your opinion does not count in your build you might be in the wrong forum [emoji57]
I have scoured the Internet and found you a bumper and steps.

Methinks these would look better on the 75...

I am fully aware of the cost and the shops (Rob's) work is second to none so it will be done correctly and cleanly. :)
I plan to drive the Cruiser for a while before this project begins.

In the interest of full disclosure, I drove the Cruiser from the hauler to the garage entrance which was a distance of 30 yards. Steve had warned me that the tires were marginal and he wasn't kidding. I've got some BF Goodrich KO2's lined up to be installed as soon as it backs out of the garage. Removing the rock chips and scratches and repainting the bottom half (blue) is priority number 1. As soon as the paint is finished the ARB brush bar and snorkel will be installed. There are a number of small items to be done such as relocating the radio antennae and removing the very dated window tinting. At the same time the new radio goes in, Rob will also install a pyrometer, boost gauge, and transmission temp. gauge. The turbo installation and exhaust upgrade will occur after the first of the year.

On the surface it looks like the project is going backwards but the end will justify the means. :)

The Cruiser is being closely inspected from bumper to bumper. In this case dirt but no rust. : )

The steps and lower door trim removed ...... No rust.

All of the bulbs, front and rear, will be changed to LED.
