i used the same mishimoto for my rebuild but didn't look for the insulators. you might do some searching about aluminium radiators and adding grounding wires. IIRC something about extra corrosion if not added. d
Good idea

Here are the bushings I used for my radiator. I believe the bottom ones came from a 70 series. New on the left, old on the right.

Ignore the non-OEM bolts, those are replaced now.

We use the 80 series bushings and hardware, we have them in stock too :)

Going to sand blast the transmission and transfer case rebuild both of them brand new with the master kits, found a trans rebuild kit on rock auto around $230 I think, and eBay from Australia the transfer case rebuild kit $170
As much as I wanna do a H55 5 speed the whole thing is around $8-9k with all the parts alone without labor so I’m going to stick with the stock auto trans, zinc plate all the bolts, build custom lines and maybe a bigger universal auto trans cooler

That’s right lol everyone sells these around 1k lost their mind for some rubber and metal and some bolts even 500 is a lot 🤣
Not to hi Jack your thread, but if you are referring to me, I believe I am the only one who stocks OEM 60 body mount kits. (We sell them for about $850 I think). If you buy it all at a dealership it’s well over $1300-1400 and they won’t have any of it in stock that day. There is a value added to having something in stock that day when needed, and those of us that do stock parts have to spend money up front to buy them to keep them on the shelfs. So it’s not exactly a ripoff to sell parts with a 20-25% markup.

No you’re fine it’s the other ones over $1k
Your products and service is 10/10 always satisfied with everything you do bro

This is the one I thought was a rip off

And some dealers I called around $1100-1500

Undoubtedly very impressed with your work!

I'd like to ask something out of genuine intelectual curiosity: Isn't it easier for you to obtain a 62 in much better condition for restoration? Or perhaps it's a challenge for you to work on such a deteriorated vehicle, for example, on the body?

In one of your comments, you mentioned a sum exceeding $325,000 dollars in spare parts (if not a hyperbole]. What's the point of spending almost half a million dollars to repair this vehicle and not buying another one for less? Am I making myself understood?

Please don't misunderstand me. I understand you have the money (fantastic!), but I'm trying to understand the underlying motivation. Fun, hobby, therapy, ludic reasons, or perhaps a mix of all? Greetings and thanks for any feedback.
