Asking $16,000
I'm in Morgan Hill, California. (That's just south of San Jose)

Many more detailed pictures available, just let me know your email address.

Imperfections include dings on passenger doors, a small area of about 2 inches by 4 inches of paint fading on drivers door. A small dent on the rear corner about 1 inch. Hood and roof were repainted (OEM paint) and you can tell how the older paint has faded slightly.

I'm interested.
Any rust?
Do you have compression check?

Hi,

No rust but unfortunately no compression numbers either. You're welcome to do it or have someone you trust do it for you.

Take care,
Tom

The best strategy when buying cars is to find one where someone else has already put in the time, effort and money that you would like to do and buy it at a discount. Well here's your chance.

That is beautiful. Wish I had the money!

Awesome rig! Tom is correct, the h55 transmission IS the best upgrade you can do to an auto or 4 speed 60 series in terms of economy, drivability and the lower first gear ratio. Congrats to the new owner!

x2, very clean and really well taken care of rig. H55 was the true bonus!

Great addition to the herd!
Tom described the car very well and works as expected. I'm impressed with the H55 conversion.
Had car transport america bring the car to the east coast for 1400$ in one week.

What in the world do you do with 3 62's. Crap who am I to talk :hillbilly: I had an identical 62 with h55 and it was great rig. Nice snag

I know I'm sick! But, hopefully will never get better :)

I have a 101K mile 62 that's getting a H55f conversion up in Colorado right now. It's almost done. Just wondering what to expect ... will it be super stiff for first 5K miles or so? Will I really notice any increased power in lower gears starting off and rounding corners? Any difference for you in gas mileage?

New this vehicle. I see it listed as a FJ 62 but with Manual Transmission. That is normally a FJ 60. What else needs to be done. Will drive it locally for a while and then move it to the beach for weekend family car and surf casting. Hence, any rust or undercoating done to frame and underside?

The H55 conversion was done professionally. Shifts smooth and has no play in gears, all lights conected. No 62 came to the US with manual trans.
Have no info on the wheels, and no good reference on begore and after since this is new to me.
All I can say is that is a big difference from my other auto white 62 in the power delivery and distribution.
It's an expensive mod but well worth it.
