I took the canvas top off of an old Land Rover Series 2A for a couple of months and that darn thing went through a Metamorphosis that made it nearly impossible to put back on.
I never took it back off again.

I agree Ebay can be a pain in the rear but it also allows the seller to gain a large audience at a fairly cheap price. Good luck which ever direction you decide to go.

for those that never saw this thread

well, i got the full length bikini top made up.
they used all the original attachment locations so no new snaps or holes drilled into the body
nice and snug fit, quieter than factory.

i picked a chocolate brown to match the dash pad and handles and console.
looks near match for trim pieces.
i think it looks clean and did i mention it is MUCH quieter than the factory?
