Back at it. Last floor pan is in. Quarantine work. Thanks @bobm for the pan!

Now on to fender bottoms or rear quarters.

Bringing all the confidence I have from finishing passenger floor pan in a day, I’m moving on to fender bottoms.

All done but the grinding (and making the vertical bracket behind the patch). Anyways, I’d rather continue trying my hand at metal work than grind, so off to the rear quarter to see how badly I can mess that up!

Got the rot out, inner panel and wheel well pieces in. Just need to go to the local metal shop and see if they can roll me a piece of sheet metal sorta close to the cutout.

Use a piece of pipe and do it urself

I agree with Bob, this is easy stuff and the internet is full of videos for doing everything with minimal tools.
You can clamp a chunk of pipe to a bench and make that panel in less than 5 minutes if it takes you 4 minutes to find the clamps and pipe.

If you can weld the floors in and do everything else, you can make that panel easy! There's all sorts of shapes around the garage . You'll get it.

Two teleconferences gave me only about 45 min this afternoon. Got more rot cut out and found a rat's nest in the rear sill. Still have no idea how to do the wheel well lips. Guess I'll be searching this forum and youtube this evening for ideas.

Good ol’ CAD! It’s so handy. Could even be one of those instances where you get to build one of those wood “bucks” to clamp the piece of sheetmetal to and form around to get the contour you want. Hours of fun for the whole family!

At this point it's not worse than the flu we had last Christmas. Gonna try and spend a few hours in the garage this afternoon.
