.... I've been known to wear 15 year old undies in order to put that money towards a tool or in this case a part for the 40.

I hope you're not sayin' there's anything wrong with that. Sounds like a smart move to me. At 15 years those scivvies are barely broken in. ;)

Lol definitely nothing wrong with that. I completely agree with you except most of mine tend to have alot of holes but like I've told Amy it's just more breathing room.

Cool lookin cap and filter ... Can't wait to drill a 4in hole In our trucks ;)

I thought so! Well ladies and gentleman, the motor cranked over for the first time in over a year today. Gotta admit it put a smile on my face. It looks like she will be up and running by the end of the week and into working out the spider webs!

Great news... So it'll be runnin for round up

It just might be! : )

Well let's see here... The motor ran for about 2 minutes today with what little gas I was putting directly into the carb. It sounds smooth just like the last time she ran. Went to Cavender Toyota this morning and picked up a new signal switch(expensive), brake lines, clutch line, and a few various odds and ends. I still have a long list of various items on order that are currently back ordered. Fortunately, the items are not really needed. I also received a couple gas pedals with linkage from some fellow mudders. I disassembled, cleaned, painted, and assembled those parts last night. Anyways, that's all for the day

Keep chugging along you'll get there soon

Mate, I completely agree! I'll take some photos tomorrow. I'm planning on mounting the tailgate tomorrow before class. Not much has changed since I posted the last pics : (

You're gonna have front and rear winches? Seems a bit excessive.

Lol sure sounds like a good idea! Jk... One is working the other needs a solenoid. I figured I could use it for parts.

Man I have been trying to buy those off him for years  I have a old style winch control box on mine and since I will be converting it to 24 volt we can talk trades
