I wish I could find a front and rear stock floormat and then I would not have to look like such a pansy when I am driving it! You don't have any hidden away do you?

I am attaching a pic that I know you will appreciate.

Anyway you can scan in that cool cut-away diagram of the yellow cruiser in that book and post it? High-res scan would be very cool.

Oooooh,

The original woood-handled screw drivers to boot! Very nice. I have a Stout tool box and a touch-up can floating around someplace.

Sorry, no mat.... :frown:

Um, shocks? ;)...Get the shackles too whilst you are at it..... :grinpimp:

So Marc, what did the appraiser say?

That thing is Beeaauuuuttttiiiiiffuuulllll!!!!! I am impressed! I was thinkin if you couldn't find any original floor mats you should put some 100 series floor mats in there...Would throw people for a loop when they get it there to tak a ride...lol...probably have to cut them so they would fit in there.

Umm....You have it parked in the STREET!!! I do not care if it is a cal de sac and "no one ever comes down there" it is still in the STREET. Get it in the garage or at least the driveway. What if it started sprinkling, what if a bird flew over and had a #2, what if a tree had to fall down, what if a plane had to make an emergency landing, what if........

I can see you are not responsible enough to take care of this. I thought you could be trusted. I am dissappointed. I am coming to get it before some DOES happen to it.

This is truely a work of art. I would have pictures framed of it all over the house. It is great. Thank you for sharing.

I decided against making a trip out this weekend. Hunting trip got canceled and I figured I'd wait to use the ticket until I needed it. Too bad though sounds like you guys are going to have a great time.

....uhhhhhh...........can't speak............too awesome for words........

I have looked at this post time and time again and each time I get a warm and fuzzy feeling. This is why you need two Cruisers. One to drive around town in your house shoes and the other to beat the snot out of.

You are going to have to carry a bat with you when you drive around to beat off all of the women. :grinpimp:

Where did you get the weatherstrip for your doors. It looks totally different from what I have. Is it different because those are soft doors? How well does it seal ?

WOW....just WOW! If your local Yota dealer doesn't track you down and give you $$$ to park it in the show room for a while to promote the FJC they are nuts! EXTERMELY well done.

The door weather stripping is different than the type for the hard top doors. The hard top doors it is glue on and on the soft top doors there is a channel that it slides in to. The seal doesn't work as well as a properly adjusted hard top door's seal. It lays on the door frame and is not sandwiched like on the hard top doors. It is still not a bad seal as long as the rubber is not dried out and stiff.

John

Astonishing

If I'm ever in the area can I pay to take a look?

Thanks for the info John. I have a hard top and I cannot get my doors to seal very well, I just did not know if those would work better.
