Hey Rotorhead, how is your build coming along?
Good to hear.Well! Kinda slow!! But still plugging away. Just super busy with the day job this summer season. Now that winter is rolling around I'm getting back at it. I've got lots of expensive parts laying around to get together. Front axle is built, gotta finish the through the frame on the front springs for that and get that bit done. Got all the parts for the FF rear, 4Runner disk/P brake for the rear. Lockers are in front and rear. But so much after that. Finish up the frame welding, sliders, roll cage, wiring, final steering... I'm getting tired typing all thisStill have a good attitude though

Good to hear.
I finally got my new rear axle mocked up with flipped FJ60 rear springs, and I'm not liking the driveshaft angle. I'm considering lowering my drivetrain and/or raising my suspension to get a net operating angle of 15* at ride height. My rig is going to get some good highway use, so I'm concerned about vibrations and driveshaft joint life. Back to crossmember fabrication I guess....
I flew that out with a helicopter. My employer at the time was hired by Eldorado County to fly in rock there due to erosion. Wasn’t a popular move with the local wheelersThat pic is when the old cedar finally fell into Little Sluice. Not sure what that overhead line is though?
Good to see you back on the project!
