Landpimp's pic is slightly misleading in that there is quite a bit more clearance with the one bbl carb than with the 2bbl. With a disc front axle, I think the fj60 mc is the best bet. Very compact and only has the one reservoir over the rear circuit. With discs on both ends I use the non ABS fj80 mc. Have to remove the TP on the 2bbl carb to clear it.

Caveat: all preceding comments are based on using the firewall adapter I sell; I have no experience with anyone else's product.

IIRC, the setup on DSRTRDR is a '93 4Runner booster and master, the spacer is off of a '91 2wd pickup. Fit well, just a slight nip to the rib.

I have 65 fj40 I replaced the front axle with 1978 fj40 axel and mini truck booster with master cylinder I run the brake line one in the front and one in the back separately and I am having trouble to build a pressure it hardy has any pressure what am I doing wrong that I am not seeing it I can use some advise some direction.

Did you bench bleed the master cylinder? Are you running a proportioning valve for the rear?

I Have a 1969 FJ 40 I am attempting to replace the rubber brake hoses. I have the old ones off, but I cannot seem to get the new ones started. I attempted to reinstall one of the old ones and the same thing they wont go back either? Any help on this would be much appreciated.

If you look very closely, you will notice that the end of the nut just behind the flare on the brake tube is bulged out wider than the rest of the shoulder on the nut. If you carefully file down the bulge with a good quality file, you should be able to reuse the nut and tube.
