More about the restoration on my IG: @patinacruisers

Arrived 4 Wheel Auto in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada finally in 2021 for a full mechanical restoration and vehicle inspection to officially finally…. be imported into Canada 🇨🇦 and on the road.

Few holes patches in the tub in the rear. This 40 was originally a service vehicle at Edwards Air Force Base. So they had cut 4 holes in the rear floor to mount a tool box to the frame back in the day. Holes files, light box liner applied and then colour/clear.

Frame and drivetrain prep for a nice coat of POR15

$49,990USD Edmonton, AB, Canada

That's awesome! I am going to the shop next week so ill take it off the hoist and grab some photos of that book for you. With your back ground at the base and this book, it sure would be cool to add some more context or memorabilia behind the story of this 40 while it was on base!
Absolutely.

Quick reply before I jump on a plane home…

I checked this out last night and drove it around. This is EVERYTHING he says it is, and more. Very well done, great power and brakes, and tons of details.

I’m going a different route than a 40 but I’m glad I got to see this. For the money, this is a steal and I would recommend anyone interested, to pull the trigger and snatch it up. It’s worth every penny!

Thanks for making the trip ! Was great to meet up with you. Appreciate the comments aswell.

Some new photos, have about 200 total on google drive for any buyers.
It will be going to BAT in spring.

FALL PRICE $55,990USD

Dream truck, so well done! The OEM Tacho was a nice touch! Hope this goes to a good home.

Appreciate the comment! Its a great build and driver, can leave it as is or repaint to finish it off as a full restoration. Underside of the tub and engine bay is all done with 2 stage lizard skin heat/sound protection and colour matched, inside the tub was also colour match and the top repainted as it was not in a state to be left as patina.

Anyone considering, I would contemplate a 60-62 series plus cash aswell.

I have a beautiful ocean view (100 yards from beach) lot on the South Shore of Nova Scotia I will trade. Deeded, in my name. Queens County. 30 minutes to Lunenburg, NS.
