Frank, be VERY CAREFUL with that wiring situation you've got there. It looks to me like the main ignition lead [black with the yellow stripe] took a big 'hit' and may be compromised. It would be best to unwrap the harness and replace that entire wire to avoid any problems down the road.

On the lock cylinder, my original '68 key looks just like the single sided one in your pic. I bought a replacement '68 cylinder from Toyota in '92, and it came with the 'fat' double sided key. The novelty of that key wore off the first time I went wheeling and the rollcage flexed far enough over to SHUT MY TRUCK OFF during a difficult maneuver.

ok if you talking about the flashers , they just been sand and polish with a sand fiber , and they took the satin natural color
for the brackets they been blast and zinc plated!!

Well this friday I make a trophy for my friend's golf team member
He make a hole in one on the country club.
I just hit the ball some times but I know is something to remember so I try to catch the hit moment and I put the ball with thr tee on the grass in a plexi box on a pedestal
And engrave the distance the date name and teammembers, that was my frien idea and I put some things by my self!!
The winner ............. Love it!!!!!!

Saturday and sunday morning
I allmoust finish the harness, they where a lots of issues, but thanks to serch in to the mud I think I get it done
some of the wire were unknow for me but with the rigth wiring diagram and a lamp connection tester was like going on clue by clue and get the treasure!!!!
The moust dificult part was the ligth switch , some electrical guy just cutt all wires and put a lost of bridges , so I keep serch and I get some of the coolerman post and finde the way,
He mentione the parking ligths (green wire) on a location but the 68 has a (green black) wire for the front parking ligths so I Put them together, tested and it works.
Tomorroy lunch time I will put the vinyl tabe on all.
