The difference between this truck and my 45.

This paint is solid enough to polish.

My 45 I was able to do CLR and it gets a few fluid film run downs a year.

This one is taking polish perfectly.

Prevent Forest Fires

I temporarily added my grandfathers (born 1890) double headed axe and the only shovel I had that fit. I’ll have to find some older looking stuff.

As I was saying earlier, most of this truck has good enough paint for polish and wax but the tailgate is more like the Goats paint. I just hit it with CLR and then sprayed it with Fluid Film. I’ll keep adding coats to the exposed metal and it will soak in giving it a great look as well as protection

I love how the 45 beds tell a story, some lead a good life, and some are well used! This one has hauled some rounds!!! I have a similar bed that has faired a little better!! This tailgate came off a 67 45 30 years as a firewood hauling business !! The wheel wells were half their size!!!
