It is with a heavy heart I list our 1967 FJ45 LPB. She has been a great truck that has been used and cherished while with us. Originally we bought it from a gentleman in Cypress California and had it shipped up to Seattle Washington. We have taken her to car shows, hauled trash, and basically anything you can think of. With three kids all at the age where they want to ride in FJ45, but can't it is time to get something else old they can fight over. Not sure what yet..

She has her fair share of scratches and nicks here and there and has served us well

I have driven this truck round trip from Seattle to Lake Tahoe without issue. 16 hours straight on the way home. Daily drive her in the summer time..with and without the top on. Don't do it Bull. I sold mine and have kicked myself in the arse ever since.

You forgot to mention the updated windshield...again!;)

I am glad to have had a hand in building her. Hope she goes to a good home.

Congrat's on the sale Bull...I'm sure it is bittersweet.

It is a fantastic truck, I will enjoy seeing it around town Cirbo.

saw this traveling east on 70 friday. sure do notice a 45 on a car hauler.

:DI promise to give her a good home. Can I call with questions on the work you did?

Cheers,

Jim

Jim, I'm not really gonna be much help on this one...as far as history goes

When Dave Bustamente owned it [3 owners ago] he didn't do much business with me. Bought a few odds and ends he installed himself. When I first met Dave in 1992, the truck was already repainted that color, and he was hauling a motorized concrete finisher in the back.

When Mike Lewis owned it [2 owners ago]he was also building up a red lwb that used to be mine that he bought a TON of parts for, but the only thing I did on the green one was rebuild the steering box. As I told Rodney, I bought the original windshield frame for the rig from Mike, which I intend to paint as a spare for my '64.

I brought the sector shaft from that steering box to the 45 run a few years back to show Rodney [previous owner] one of the worst cases of malfeasance I have ever come across in auto mechanics! It sits on my Wall of Shame.

That's what I know.

Maybe we can make some new history.:)

Best

Well, the old girl made it safe and sound. I only had enough time to run home to meet the shipper, pull it off the trailer and into the driveway, then run back to work.

I'm hoping for some time to get acquainted this weekend and post some pictures.

Updates??? I am sorry I missed this opportunity, but wish you the best with your project. I'd love to follow your plans for this 45. Also, let me know if you have buyers remorse, or if you ever want to resell.:steer: Brendon
