I was a little too slow on this one but if anyone knows of another, let me know. I'm kicking myself...

The "buyer's remorse" comment goes for me too. PM me if you want to flip it!!!

Well, I finally got around to road testing the old girl. The brake pedal went to the floor, which made for a little excitement on the first go-around. I took the free-play out of the rear drums and things got much better. Since then, I have gone around and lubed all pivot points on pedals, linkages, and cables. I now have alot less squeeking and groaning when driving the truck. Today I found that the adjuster on the steering box was all the way out. I could grab the pitman arm and move it 1/4 inch in and out of the box. When I tightened things back up and snugged the jamb nut down, the steering became much better. I topped off all fluids and gave her another go. Things are getting better, but I'm not ready for a cross country trip just yet.
