Hell, for $3600 I would have bought it back! I sold it for more than that. Only had 2 99's Bossman.

Ran through the lane as a dealer trade. They may of shown you more but acv was way lower.

I'd say those updated the truck out of those chrome 16 originals pretty nicely!

Put volt meter on battery
Check if it has juice.

If yes, grab ankles

It's got juice.

And before we talk water related, I just cleaned under the hood and remarkably little water got under there.

Also my plastic skid plate washed off in a crossing. Gone.

Sounds like the starter. It's a sumbitch

I drove mine for a 4-6 wks after the clicking started

I was driving with the windows down in my 100 tonight (because my 2 y/o vomitted in her car seat right when we pulled up to a restaurant) and I noticed a major creak coming from the DS front tire. I thought it was just shock noise going over bumps, but when I pulled into the garage at home it was loud when I turned the wheel left and right. I haven't heard this before but I also haven't driven much with the windows down. Did anybody hear it when we were at the meeting at DNP's? Any thoughts on what it could be?

My squeak was the lower ball joint. 100's like to eat away at that front end maintenance $$$ @ 200k miles. Hope I am done for a while. Wheel bearings, tie rods, ball joints, UCA, etc now done... and saving for a steering rack!

99.9% starter's on the way out. That's the way it usually begins. Intermittent, and then one day, it's just gone. Rob, Eric, and I pulled Eric's intake off, fixed a water hose, and put it back together at the crawl last year in about an hour. The starter takes a little additional time to change. It's not THAT big a deal if you want to do it (I'll give you a hand, if you want). Otherwise, Rob can make quick work of it.

My front Tcase seal is leaking and it keeps a nice coat on the muffler and it really stinks.

It's on the list for Rob to fix next week.
Never heard of a TC leaking on a 100... have you looked at valve covers instead?
