A local friend has asked for my/our help in finding a good 100. Her old vehicle was stolen and finally totaled by the insurance co. So she has cash in hand. She wants a well maintained truck with around 100K miles. She is willing to fly one-way and drive it home. If local, I would want 49 Cruisers to check it out. If not local, hopefully we can find a good shop like ACC, etc to help her make a good decision.

I think she's looking from $15 - 20K.

Heavily depends on age, miles and condition. No AHC please.

There is a silver 2001 100 close to Birmingham that has low miles. It's on the Birmingham craigslist. I just bought a 100 myself and keep looking out of habit because it took me so long to find one.

I tried to haggle with them on this very truck and they were not interested in moving much. I even told them the used car manager would get slaughtered at auction with this thing. I offered them a fair price of nearly $7k and they wouldn't take it.

There was a gold one at herrin gear with high mileage as well BUT has several records up to the point of trade in that it had been serviced all its life at that Toyota dealership. Even was a 1 owner and they were asking less. The only issue was the interior was worn and real dirty. They wouldn't haggle much either on it.

I test drove this. It drove about as good as its interior looked. It had some alignment or balancing issues. They dropped the price even more for me and it almost tempted me but I ended up buying a different one that I'm happy with.

That's good. They wouldn't talk to me anymore after the last email I sent them.
