If books sold cars there would be dealers out of business and hungry salesmen everywhere. Toyota has always been Book+
Whereas BMW =Book-30%. And we won't even mention if it's Green or Gold which are usually the cleanest but will sit on a retail lot at least 120 days. Black Book is wholesale Blue Book is consumer. Most of which stop deducting for mileage after 150k or more.

Unfortunately, in Mississippi, they're right (ask me how I found out....:bang:)

Less than 10 years old (dealer to individual): 5% tax
Less than 10 years old (individual to individual): 3% tax
10 years old or more (dealer to individual): 5% tax
10 years old or more (individual to individual): 0% tax

Oh, unfortunately, I'm well versed in it as well.....I've argued it more times than I can recall....stupid as hell...(and that's before you throw in the "assessed" value formula used at the Tax Collector's Office)

trust me I already know. BUT the average consumer really doesn't know this. When it starts affecting his day supply is when he'll be more flexible on price. That is if the GM enforces a tight day supply. I've been working in dealers for almost 15 years now. Used cars is where dealers make the most money at these days. New cars is catching back up now with the rebates they give the dealer if the dealer sells X amount etc.

I found a set of tundra 18 in 18 hole steel wheels like these that were take offs and come with the stock tires. I like the poverty pack/ retro look of them. It would also give me a chance to run some stock smooth tires for a bit to determine if the Maxxis tires or the suspension is causing the rough ride before I decide what to do for suspension and tires. @Bomar mentioned that my stock 16 in rims would be lighter and tires would be cheaper in 16 in but I could hold on to them for now and decide which ones to sell off later. I also like the look of these better than the other tundra options (besides the sweet rock warriors). Any other issues with them on a 100?

On a side note I did find some used 285/75-16 BFG but they are MT. I like the look but the noise and faster wear are not ideal so have to weigh that option. (Don't worry Chris, if I get used tires right now, the money saved will go to future suspension and bumpers from 49 Cruisers.)

Andy, I've got this take off set with three factory sensors that I'll take $200 for, they look a lot better to me than the hole version, look real nice painted a grey metallic color fit right

Thanks. My 98 doesn't have tire sensors and I still don't really know my plan yet but I will let you know if things change.

I wasn't being negative. I just wanted him to know. It's something like 20lbs per corner heavier if I remember correctly. Maybe a tad less.

They do look good PC'd. I bought a set of them two years ago, never installed. But I moved them around a ton of times and can attest to their weight. Gave a couple away, kept three for a future trailer build.

My new 305 AT/KO2s are significantly heavier than my factory Michelins, my steel bumpers and sliders are significantly heavier than my factory plastic ones!
Difference is wheels/tires are unsprung weight......of course, unless you're gonna autocross it, it really doesn't matter where the weight is

I like the steelies

Like @geologic said the 10 ply AT type tire will be a good 30# heavy than the P metric tire that came on these sleds. The extra weight of a steelie wheel wont matter any more than bumpers, sliders, roof rack, beer, expo box, winch, expo ladder, d rings, fridge, straps, beer, Vienna sausages, bourbon, cigars, Monster dranks, beer, t shirts, beer, dog, gps, go pro, beer, first aid kit, recovery gear, bc power and beer..
