Hey guys new to the forum now that I am considering selling my 09 LC.

Long story short, this was ordered back in 09' from my local Toyota dealer, and just about every single option was added.. My family and I only drive it a few times a year... and we have only put a whopping 6k miles on it. The Vin report, or car fax will agree with that statement, it is "funny business". Its never been in the snow, or sand either, and was always garage kept and put away professionally waxed.

Our family has a bunch of vehicles, and our LC just doesn't get driven as often as it should. As you'll see from the pics, This thing is literally brand new. I wanted to know what the value of this really is because of the condition and miles. I was hoping you'd be able to help me out, cause I was unable to find the "pricing" section I've heard of on here... I know roughly what it is worth, cause I know what I paid for it. But I wanted to get some true opinions on what this could sell for.

cheers

That is nice

Nice truck.

I checked Edmunds, showed ~$28k if clean condition. Gave a +$4,xxx mileage adjustment due to its low miles. So I say $30k max, you'll likely get a little more if you sell it privately.

At 6k... Its basically a brand new Cruiser...though if might need a water pump and radiator due to time. But still... Come on. A 4Runner Limited starts at $45k.

All we really know is that it has 6k miles.

Price depends on more than just mileage:

What maintenance, if any has been performed? The pictures above appear to be in some sort of mechanic shop?

You mention nearly every single option was added. Please tell which options were added.

Thanks.

I’m curious what maintenance you have in mind here. It is 2 oil changes old in mileage (needs occasional use/change of course)...and there are a few other items that can go with age (water pump/radiator). Tires age... OK. 10 year old battery... OK.

But beyond those?

I am not trying to dispute your statement. Rather, I am curious what list of maint. items you would expect him to have done to a vehicle only driven 6k mikes.

I would have bought this if interior was black :crybaby:

I can't stand the tan interior. I have tan on my 100 and its near impossible to keep clean.

The maintenance I have in mind is simply the toyota recommended maintence which can be found here : https://www.toyota.com/t3Portal/doc...df/09 LandCruiser SMG 127076 1st Print EN.pdf

Toyota recommends every 5,000 miles or 6 months whichever comes first.

I don't know what to expect. And don't have any set expectations at this time. Maybe the manual was followed and in the shop every six minus. Maybe it's never had tires changed.

These are ridiculous low ball numbers, that show no understanding of the market. Just two years ago I picked up my 2009 with 100k for just over 30. I would start by asking around 50, maybe slightly higher. The overland market is growing, I am sure you will find someone who is interested in a super low mileage pre-facelift truck. Be patient.

2016s with under 60k are available in the $55-60k range.

If I were a buyer, I'd be considering your truck vs. a low mileage 2013+. Looks like 2013s with under 60k are starting around $45k.

Provided the underside is in similar excellent condition, I'd list at $45k and expect to take a few bucks less.

Do not shoot messenger. I would pay 5 to 7 % above KellyBlue book at most. This my logic.
10 year old vehicle no matter miles. As one person stated Toyota recommend service is X miles 6 months. Unless you have 6 month history on those services that is a concern. Day 1 going to have water pump done, brakes checked and brake fluid flushed, transmission serviced, oil change, tires likely replaced, AC system check, u-joints checked, suspension check.
Granted its LC and it will likely do 20 plus more years of service and make it to 300K plus miles but low miles and age are not worth more than that 5 to 7 % above Blue Book at least to me.
I purchased a used 2016 with 14.4K miles for 62K with full Toyota service history from dealer.

I paid $34k for a 208 with 69k miles on it in the fall of 2017. I think I'd start at $50k and go from there, if the vehicle is as you say it is. Stored inside in a dry climate, I would probably replace the tires, change the oil and move on.

What will insurance write for coverage cost under total loss replacement. Any buyer looking to use this a daily driver family vehicle should be worried about this unless they can afford the loss between this price and purchase price.

My thinking as well, and we seem to be in the minority here, but it's just internet banter anyways.

OP's 200 is essentially a new LC yes, but it's also 10 years old with unknown hx of regular service, and the LC is not a high demand vehicle, and it is also not a vintage collector's car that people buy and garage queen to preserve value (at not least not yet and not that I know of).

I could be wrong of course, and have been wrong before, and hope the OP gets as much $$ as possible.

Has OP gotten a quote from a dealership?

I would interested if Eric Sargeant (spelling?) can offer his thoughts.

At the end, this 200 is worth what one person is willing to pay, not what a bunch of internet hooligans type up :)
