Id say $45k, certainly no less than $40k. (I've bought and sold lots of 200s) Assuming rust-free. Some people prefer the 08-11 style. Black/tan is arguably the best color combo of those years. .............Just looked it up and Manheim Market Report states the WHOLESALE value of that car being about $37k, based on actual transactions of 09 LCs. Their estimated RETAIL value of $43,600. So yeah, low 40s for sure. List if for $44,900 and be willing to come off maybe 3k. Throw it on craiglist with lots of good pics and it will be sold in a few weeks.

35-40,000 dollars, is my guess (since you asked). Closer to 40. They were ~70k brand new. 10 years ago.

The exact value is unknown given the super low miles. It could be a good candidate for BringaTrailer ($100 to list) with a reserve price, as you get a nationwide audience. You can also list it here on Mud.

I wouldn't normally recommend going the auction route (with reserve price) first, but it might actually make sense given the super low miles could attract a bidding war. They have deep pockets over there. Source: 1997 Toyota Supra Twin Turbo 6-Speed For $100 bucks, it could be worth it. I have thought about listing mine on there when the time comes.

Might be worth a call to the land cruiser museum in UT. Perhaps they want a low mile first gen for display.

This would be a good candidate for BAT with the mileage.

Looks like auction value would be high 30s if in perfect condition.

I'd say $37-39k. Even though it's basically "brand new" it's still a 10 year old truck with way outdated features. For instance I've seen 13' and 14' MY cruisers with 40k to 50k miles for $42-45k. Even though it only has 6k miles on it it's still going to need some touch up maintenance and it lacks the features that the 13+ MY offer. As well the difference between a well taken care of 40-50k mile LC vs a 10 year old 6k mile LC is not much, we all known these are 500k mile trucks with care. Plus the OP is going to have to take a lot more and better detailed pictures. A carfax would also be helpful. For me the areas of concern are the lack of detailed pictures, somewhat vague post, and new member join date. If the OP is going to post it at $40K - 45K then I'd almost rather put up the same amount of money for a 13+ MY with a few more miles with known history and documentation. Just my 2C.

There are really only two things I wish my 08 had that the 13+ got...

-Forward camera in 4-Lo...(I often wheel alone and it would be nice in tricky stuff)
-Radar Cruise

Those, and also the fact that the dash styling is miles ahead in terms of looking up-to-date.

But man, I love my 08...and finding one with a mere 6k miles at 10 years old?? Wow. That’s a rarity. Someone should snap this up.

Radar cruise and the camera are cool but for me the things i use the most with the 2013 update are the ability to fine tune ATRAC and turn assist, just my 2 cents!

Ah! I forgot turn assist! Yes. Very cool.
My brain was thinking that came with the 16+.
Thanks for correction, Ken.

That really is a cool feature for turning a three-point switchback into a single turn.

As a professional car dealer, I'm certain you'll pull $36K-$39K max. As one person stated earlier, you'll be limited to cash buyers as this is too old for a bank to finance & too far over book value for a credit union to finance unless your buyer puts down $7K to $10K depending credit situation.

I will also suggest Bring a Trailer. It is the kind of thing Bring a Trailer loves.

Look, a car this age and condition is worth whatever somebody is willing to pay for it - but - realistically, having a car sit for many years is probably worse that easy regular driving.

My 94 year old mom's 2002 RX300 with 34k miles looks great from the outside and is in great shape inside because it has had regular maintenance by time - so oil changes every 6 months, brake flush every three years, tranny and coolant flushes etc. New battery last month and new tires a couple of years ago - since tire life is 6 years or so.

If there was little maintenance done, then the car will require several thousands of dollars of maintenance - water pump, radiator, all fluids ( possibly some brake work), tires and battery - I'd figure $2000-$3000 to get the internals looking like the externals.

So, yes, $30'ish is probably right. An enthusiast who does his own work may pay a bit more.

If this was green I'd be harassing the owner to let me buy it from him.......

$35k seems right to me if it were a private sale. Tires, oil change, water pump, radiator, battery add up quickly unless the new owner can do everything but the tires himself

OP hasn't popped back in to answer what, if any, maintenance has been done to it in the last 10 years. But seems like anyone with $70k to spend on a vehicle that apparently wasn't even needed probably takes good care of their vehicles (just my experience). After buying and selling at least 20 different trucks and cars I've found that the best way to get an accurate estimate of what you'll ACTUALLY get for it are... look at KBB.com at private party value (it says $37-39k) and then look at Autotrader and see what the average listing price is - except this is such a unicorn that there's nothing even close to really compare it to that's listed for sale right now. But you can get a 2011 with 80k for $35k so....

Like others have said you're restricted to cash buyers since it's 10 years old there won't be any banks that are going to loan much, if anything, for it. Very, very slim chance but it's possible a smaller credit union might loan something on it - I've seen similar deals with a local credit union that has very relaxed lending rules. Cash buyers just means you will likely have to lower your price as compared to a vehicle that people can get a loan for.

If it's had maintenance done (and it's documented) then I would ask $40k and expect to have to come down, maybe as low as $30-35k simply because the pool of people that have $40k in cash laying around that they want to spend on a car is really small. Bring a Trailer is also a good idea - low mileage, well taken care of, expensive vehicle. Also depends on where you live - if you're in a large metroplex then you'll obviously have better luck getting more for it than if you were in a small town. I wish I could buy it as an extra...lol
