I need the u-shaped bracket that is spot welded to the dash and has the knob bolt that goes through it to hold the windshield back. It's part number 16 in this pic:

Please let me know if you have one you'd part with and what you'd like for it...
This pertains to a 40 series Landcruiser. Having just done this and not having found a coherent post about how to do it (i.e., part here and part there and no part anyhere), I thought this might be helpful for others who knew as little as I did before I started. Adam, from Chula Vista, CA, and...
All I can find on a zillion threads on mud is how to remove the windshield part. I am replacing the whole thing and can't find anything on that despite the variations of search terms. Where do I disconnect the two electrical connections, one for the windshield wiper motor and the other I...
Hey guys,
I'm trying to get new wiper inserts and I'm trying to get the right parts. It looks like the left and right side are different and from the Toyota parts website they are 85214A and 85214B. However, I cannot find the rear wiper blade diagram or part number at all. It is also difficult...

The slowest available windshield wiper setting on my '06 LC results in a wiper interval that is way too fast for 90% of rain situations, which requires me to cycle the wipers on and off constantly.
Is this normal? If not, what could be the cause?
I am replacing the rear window (the back, upper hatch) in my 80. The broken glass is removed. Beno has supplied me with a new OEM weatherstrip that has been relaxing in the sun for a couple days.
Question: what do I use to clean/remove the old glass sealer on the body and what good shall I...
My cruiser came with this decal on my windshield I was sad when the window had to be replaced and the decal couldn't be salvaged. I forgot I had taken a photo of it and I have recreated it and plan on getting a small run done on these. It's not a 100% perfect duplicate but it is pretty close...
So i sealed the windshield with the roof flashing sealant according to one thread on here i think it was firetruck? worked freaking amazing..no water pooling in either side of the windshield. now i have a bit of rust which i sealed over on driver side about 4inch up on the edge of the...
When I run my wipers on delay there is a whining sound. Sounds like motor bearings that are going out.
I figured it was my wiper motor, but after after doing some research I realized the motor is on the passenger side, and the sound is coming from drivers side under dash.
I've attached a...
i have a windshield frame and windshield in decent shape from a 72 fj40. The glass is cracked but the frame is solid with only surface rust. I'm in GA and I'm not thrilled about shipping but I'm open to it but I doubt it would be cheap.
$150
I've been getting a ton of wind noise around my windshield, I've always suspected it was due to the gasket since it's pretty brittle.
Then we had some pretty heavy rain yesterday and it started dripping onto the passenger side floor mat.
I think I'd like to just replace the whole windshield...
For sale I have the rubber seal between the windscreen frame and the body. My new one cost me a small fortune and thend found this in one of the parts vehicles I picked up. It HAS been fitted at some point but it has no damage and is not perished. A quick clean with some detail spray and it will...
Mine (see photo of passenger side) is in no way connected to the vehicle. Gravity holds it in place while i shut the hood but there appears to be several places where some form of a connector would be used?
Can i either buy the connectors or order a new seal? Anyone able to find a part number...
I am getting a lot of wind noise from the top center of my windshield. It looks like the rubber lip on the trim at the top is hardened up and isn't making a good seal anymore against the body. I've messed with the flexible part of the trim a bit, the noise will get a bit softer but not go...
