suspension

i have test driven a 2000 LX470 with 147000 miles. It has a very comfortable ride and it seems to be an aftermarket suspension. I am ignorant to these vehicles but the ride is smooth and I’m comsodwring buying. Can someone tell me is this aftermarket?
