For sale is a set of front and rear Toyota 70 series axles with factory e-lockers. I bought them from a MUD member a while ago and installed them on my BJ70.
Here is a little information about the axles that I took from the post when I bought them:
"Have you ever thought about what it would be like to narrow a set of 80 locking axles and put them under a 40? That's essentially what these are, but with leaf spring perches. Late model 70 series axles, with e-lockers. They are about 1-2" wider than the stock 40 axle width. 4.11 gear ratios.
Advantages over stock 40 series:
Bigger knuckle arms
Bigger tie rod ends
Bigger tie rod
Trussed axle with higher clearance at the bottom of the diff
High pinion diff (good for big lifts or spring over)
(if you are upgrading from front drums, then the disks are an obvious upgrade)
Lockers
Full floater rear
Integral parking brake
If you simply bought ARB's and stuffed them in your smaller 40 axles, you would be about $2,300. I'm asking $2,800 for the full Toyota setup and you can sell your old axles.
The catch: The rear axle perches will need to be moved in about 1/2" either side to fit a 40. I did this twice on my own truck, it's easy. The tie rod end for the drag link is larger than a stock 40, so you will need to make a hybrid drag link. These lockers, and its computer, are 24V. You can buy a 12 to 24V converter (very small current for these) for about $30. I suspect they will work on 12V if you don't use the computer and just hardwire the harness up, but I'm not going to test that."

I recently bought a set of 70 series axles with cable lockers so this set with e-lockers is now for sale.
When I bought these axles, the front axle came with electric locking hubs as shown in the second photo. I have converted the front axle to regular AISIN locking hubs (using Toyota factory parts from a donor axle (not using adapter plates)). The parts to convert the axles to electric locking hubs can be included with the sale if wanted. The axle will come with a good set of used (working) AISIN locking hubs and the red AISIN hubs might be included if agreed upon when the axles are sold.
The Full Floating rear axle housing is shown on the 4th photo. I've removed the cable locking 3rd member and will be sold with the e-locker shown on the 5th photo. The rear axle will need to be inspected and serviced. It would benefit from some cosmetic assistance.
I paid $2800 as shown on the original post and then spent the money swapping the locking hubs and such. Both front and rear 3rd members have new Toyota pinion seals. I will not split the axle combo unless you find buyers for both axles. I also have a 12Volt guy complete wiring harness for these e-lockers that is included with the sale:

The complete wiring harness sells new for $275 and it is still in the box. I have the factory Toyota locking ECU that will go with the axles as well.
I am happy assisting with shipping but you will have to arrange that. I can take the axles to a freight terminal and put them on a pallet, but will not have time to arrange shipping.
I would like to get $2800 for the axles and the wiring system. The red AISIN locking hubs can be included for an additional $120 (which is what I paid to recondition a set).
The axles are located in Cincinnati, OH. Local pickup is welcomed.
