I replaced the clutch master cylinder along with the slave cylinder. I also moved the horn to the fender. Afterwards, I took off the steering wheel and cleaned all horn button contact points. I’m replacing the motor mounts next week.

I ordered a clutch master cylinder and the slave cylinder for my bj40. Clutch pedal has no pressure unless I panic press the heck out of it. Checked the fluid and it is very dirty and the slave is leaking. I should have flushed the line a long time a go. Shame on me for being so careless..

After my recent 2” lift install my BJ40 developed the infamous driver-side lean so I installed a CCOT leveler block kit, yesterday, and the result is a perfectly leveled, no-lean rear.

Labor cost for my install was $600, which included taking down the top, patching a few interior side areas with fiberglass, sanding, and installing the new liner with new hardware. I purchased the headliner separately. I had it back in 3 days.

I took a few photos of the 40 on the street after the RC shock install. I really like the new aggressive elevated appearance! Will now look into getting taller tires…
