Thanks again for the idea! I finally got around to doing this to my own GX. Love it! Useful and looks soooo much better than the old stretchy net.

I guessing that's just perception due to the lower ambient temp. I've had two 470s now and they have the most anemic seat heaters I've experienced.

A few weeks ago the GX was my race support vehicle for a track weekend and this past weekend my son, also responsible for the custom HID headlights, painted the T4R wheels.

Found a nice upgrade for our pathetic reverse lights. Found these on Amazon and they have made a huge difference. Really happy with them for $16 and the size is perfect for the GX housing.

Yeah, we are just waiting to see how they work out moving ahead with the high beams. We put these in the front turn signals. My son turned the DRL function off and wired the white lights to 12v switched so I now have nice white DRLs that remain on with the headlights. The turn signal switches...

No, they are low beam only HIDs. My setup still has the stock GX high beam.

Can't wait to get some info regarding how they work. The HID lows my son built are perfect so now I need some highs to match.

Really interested in your impressions on that high beam mod. My son just retrofitted my GX with HIDs from an 04 RX330 and it turned out great. He started a build thread here.

A TPMS light might simply mean the spare needs air. Ask me how I know ;)

Yeah, my son is a Lexus Tech and he showed me that little trick. The downside is I now fail to start any car you have to turn and hold the key :doh:

How is that road for someone in a bone stock GX470 who wants to do some casual playing in the Lexus?

They work fine, especially if already considering having a wired connection. For a non-nav GX I'd just replace the headunit as inexpensively as possible.

If you wanna keep it cheap and you're going to have to use an aux cord why not just use a cassette adapter? Well, I'm assuming the non-navs have a cassette deck.
