Going back n' forth on 285/75/17 tires...not a 'will it fit' post

Reviving a slightly stale thread....... My 285/75-17 Falkens are about done, and I've been going back and forth on going up to 285/75-17s, either the Coopers or Open Country AT IIIs just to switch it up. My question is, can anyone confirm that an inflated 285/75-17 fits in the spare location...

Any Ironman 270 Awning impressions ?

I've had mine for a little while now. I've only deployed it a handful of time. It's set up on the mounts that come with the awning on the top of my Gamiviti rack. I had a Napa awning on the truck before, and this one has so much more coverage. It's way easier to deploy and take down. There does...

    Help diagnose front creak

Curious to know the answer as I have a very similar squeak. I had some Sankei 555 lower ball joints installed almost 3 years ago and about 30,000 miles of pretty mild use, so I'd be a little surprised if those were the culprits.

    My 450$ 500k mi Lc100

To those who were wondering, I asked LCDan2 for the specs of the wheels and the place where he ordered the TE-37s from. He replied that the specs are 16x8 ET0, which I think might be the only option for 16" wheels that fit the LC100/LX470 platform. There might be 17/18" options, but I haven't...

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

Just finished up with my Ironman bumper install, too. For the price, with the 25% discount, it's a tough deal to beat.

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

Decided to match the plastic trim and body color on my '06. I think it turned out pretty well considering I was trying to match 15+ year old paint out of a spray can! We'll see how well it holds up. I hit it with some 2K glamour clear after the base coat, and I've used that stuff with pretty...

    Budget Snorkel Review

I'm in the process of sourcing out a cheap-o snorkel, and I was wondering if anyone had an updated link for a quality "safari-style" snorkel?

Why did you choose your front bumper?

I think your response partially answers my question. You're right, I was trying to assess whether there was a difference in how far the T13 / T17 sticks out from the front grill/headlights. For example, the ARB seems to stick out 9+ inches, Dissent ~5.5", etc. I do seem to notice that some TJM...

Why did you choose your front bumper?

This is the exact reason I'm looking for a front bumper with full bar. Unfortunately, right now, it seems due to stock limitations, choices are kind of limited. The Ironman 4x4 front bumper looks to be a stellar deal at $1,000-ish (free shipping and 25% off Labor Day sale) and in stock, and it...

    Wanted  100 series fender flares

Hey guys, Looking to see if anyone out there is getting rid of a full set of the Gulf States add on / Bushwacker "fender flares" with all hardware & gaskets? Color doesn't matter, but would prefer to find a set in excellent to like-new condition, if possible. Please PM me details if you'd be...

The Mother-In-Law... Build thread, Intro, and request for guidance ('03 LX470)

If you're in my part of town, you're more than welcome to check out my setup. It's nothing fancy, but it'll give you a better idea of what your truck would look like and whether you like it. I'm running a Tough Dog setup w/ Rock Warriors and 285/70/17 Falken Wildpeaks.

    New Shock Option Soon!

Interested to hear all of your opinions. I've got a Tough Dog set up that I just installed, and my truck is light (no armor except sliders, no 3rd row). Small bump compliance is pretty harsh, which I understand is a trade off without going to something like a King setup. I don't fault the...
