I don’t own a 80 series but was considering taking them off your hands. I’m currently in Hartwell and about to head to Toccoa. After Toccoa I’m heading back to Woodstock and will be passing through Cornelia on my way home.
Sorry for the questions but did you bend the tube and b pillar while it rested in its place on the cruiser? The reason I’m asking because I’ll have to take it to my dads to weld it and he’s 1 1/2hr drive from me.
How was you able to fit the tube of the bow through the B pillar bows? I tried to feed mine through with no luck and will possibly have to bend the B pillar a little more.
After pushing my cruiser out of the just a hair to clean an oil leak I took advantage and checked the rear bow section. It’s obviously clear that the 35’s are going to be too tall to clear. Guess I’m going to have to stick to 33’s.
I’m going to be running a soft top on the cruiser so I have plenty of time to work on the cap if I decide to do it myself. However I did see some rust but not rotted through on the inside lip of the rain gutter so I’m thinking to remove the rivets and blast the gutter and possibly powder coat it.
