I also need to double check that it’s not leaking at the pump. In the video it was hard to tell because I didn’t have good footage of where the fitting goes into the pump. However you could see it pouring out where it was crimped to the soft line.
I also continued letting the motor run just to make sure the temp sensor worked and then thought to myself to turn it off because I didn’t want to burn the pump out.

Thats great news. Its strange, Rockauto's description of that box is different than cardones and cardones description doesn't seem correct either. I'm glad it worked out.

That is a J20 box - supposedly. That is what I have run with that jeep hose I listed. May be a dumb question - are you sure you are sticking the hose in the pressure and not the return?

I don't think so. I will have to see what that was. It was just a short elbow and then I ran fuel hose to a cooler and then fuel hose to the return side of the pump.

I just use a section on 3/8 metal fuel line, bent to my liking, then 3/8 rubber hose and clamps.

I ended up buying a return line from O’reilly’s and will arrive tomorrow. I could use the existing line that I originally had that I thought was the pressure line and cut the other fitting off but want the hardline to be consistent with one another.

I ask because I started my cruiser for the first time for a while and noticed that the power steering fluid was leaking out. Originally I thought it was the hose where the fitting was crimped onto the soft line.

I went to the shop where I had the hose made and showed a video to the individual behind the counter and he believes I need the bump tube because it’s not getting a good seal because of the fitting is flared.

Interested in more details/photos of the bracket you used to secure the 2 bolts on the outside of the pump. It seems you used the dworry flat bar to secure two bolts to the pump. How is it attached down below?
I think my pump would feel more secure if I secured it at 3 points

That explains why my kids haven’t done there DNA test yet that they had for awhile to the point it’s probably expired.
