Tall skinny tires

I've been talking with a tire manufacturer recently, and they are considering making a tall/skinny overland type tire...the old Super Swamper Q78s were my baseline.

First, whats the "ideal" size? I'm thinking a 36x10.5 on a 17" wheel....but that also means finding narrower 17" wheels...hhmmm

Also, an agressive mud terrain, an all terrain, or one of the newer crossover patterns? I'm leaning crossover myself...

Looking for input, would be a 2018 size release.
Been thinking of the same idea 36 is good 37 would be perfect. Have the 17”x8” wheels some of the last Stockton wheels made before going out. The crossover pattern is also my choice,

Nitto and Toyo both make a 38x11.5x17

Anyone know what the skinniest 37x12.5r17 tire is?
Looking to install on my LX570. Would love to do the 37x11.5 Recon grapplers but I heard they are pretty bad in daily rain and snow....

Does 33x10.5 count? CST Land Dragon.

84x24cm measured at 2.5 bar on a 5.5" rim.

Mounted a set of Toyo RT Pros 38x11.50r17 on FN RW Wheels 17x8.0” +45

Great choice, looks excellent! I've been running the Toyo R/T Pro in the 35x11.5 /17 size on my '06 Power Wagon and really liking this tire a lot. Some great narrower size options too outside of the normal variant which is nice to see. I wish the load rating on the narrower sizes was closer to the 12.5 width. Overall it's been a very solid tire.

When my yokos are dead I will be going to 35x11.5s I was eyeballing my clearance to my bmc and I could definitely go taller.
