We have a fully serviced, fully-cleaned and machined late 2F cylinder head ready to go.
The original PN would have been 11101-61040. Hard to find in good shape.
Machining was done by Machine Works in Tucson, AZ. New OEM valves were installed...
@cruiseroutfit for the win! Thank you Bryce and gang for the parts, and great customer service as always. We’re lucky to have a company like this around!
Pallet of Cruiser parts showed up… time for some reassembly.
Bit the bullet and bought...
Talked gaskets, sealants and not cross threading on reassembly. Everything is going smoothly so far.
Had to clean up a few studs but it’s going well.
Popped in a new Allen head drain plug with magnet. Should keep it away from rock damage...
I did this same swap into my 76 several years ago. In my case I left the transmission hump in and just removed the shifters. Used a 2 ton hoist and pulled the entire drive train, removed seized 2F, replaced clutch, throwout and attached new...

We’ve got the big stuff all knocked out. The boys have been working hard. We have a few little projects to knock out and then we are into full reassembly.
It’s amazing BOTH how much we can get done in a class and how little we can get done in...

Used some 3/8 line to make new ones. My friend Hubert —bike fabricator for a living—came down to help out.
More pieces of the puzzle.
I’ll get these...
One lucky participant will win a Bump It Offroad fairlead at the raffle!
