1984 Toyota Land Cruiser. Manual transmission (4-spd). 4WD. Tan with tan-brown interior. Stock 6 as far as I know.
New Weber carb (not a china/mexico junk carb) recently installed as previous owner had incorrect carb installed. The old carb had a sticky accelerator pump and was in need of a rebuild (which I am not so good at) so I just got a new one.
Has working AC, installed by previous owner, but it seems to need a recharge. Previous owner said the vehicle had a damaged piston which was how he acquired it. He fixed that and since he had the cyl head off, had it worked by a local machine shop. New radiator as well.
It runs fairly well, idles smooth, and I have not had any issues besides the old carb.
Interior is in decent shape minus the dash. Previous owner put in a 90’s style head unit with detachable face. I never messed with it so cannot attest to it being good or bad.
I had a local Land Cruiser mechanic look it over and give his opinion. The bad: a nice exhaust leak at the manifold (I do believe the previous owner reused the original 1984 gasket instead of replacing it and it just could not handle being reused once more) and a vacuum leak somewhere. Also, the fuel level gauge does not work, unsure if it’s something with the sending unit. Driver door trim outside A-pillar is bent and not staying down well.
The title is clear on this LC but it has been in an accident as there is evidence of repairs and bodywork as well as paperwork for body shop repair of the driver side door and associated areas. It looks like it got repainted and they tried to blend it in, but it isn’t a show-car paint job by any means. There may be more, I did not read all of the paperwork as there is a ton of it. Front headlight washer sprayers work. A car cover will be included with the vehicle as well as a box of some of the OE parts such as the stock air cleaner. Please ask questions and I will be happy to answer them
It was a Virginia vehicle so there is a fair amount of rust underneath. Happy to answer any questions or post specific pics, just ask. Vehicle is registered in GA but currently in Hickory, NC. Originally purchased to take to OBX for a vacation, after that I brought it home and the GF hates it being in her driveway.
I love driving it when I can and hate to sell it, but life tends to throw you those curveballs plus I do have a 5th gen 4R.
Included videos, you can see it idles fairly smoothly but you also clearly hear the exhaust leak for that Snapper lawn mower feel. It's an easy fix but I don't have the time anymore.

I had listed it on ebay and sold twice but first was a guy who wanted to "drive it across the country to my son" and when I advised it was probably not the best vehicle for that, he crapped blood. Second attempt was a spammer scammer. I gave up on ebay at that point, as I should have a long time ago.
