Hi mudders,it's been a while I had just the time for a look at the forum here, now I've decided to post some of the mods I made to my '91 HDJ80.
Here're some pics of the bumper I made last year, after a long time thinking pros and cons with other aftermarket products(too expensive here in Europe...).
I'd like to hear Your opinion on the finished bumper,as I bring great respect for all your skills.
Emi.

Wow, that is a great looking bumper. You should make a jig and start producing them, I'm sure there's a lot of peopel thinking they want one of those.

That looks real nice and beefy. How much does it weigh?

I already have autocad files ready to go with the laser/waterjet cut,I'll just have to wait till this summer when I'll move to a bigger house with a bigger workshop(more space=less mess). The bumper is made with 0.125" steel on most parts while frame points and vertical "blades" are 0.25" high carbon steel, the tubes are 2" with 0.125" wall. The weight is between 45-55lbs.(without the winch)

Looks great! I'd TOTALLY take one of those! :)

Looking good.

How common are jeeps in Italy???

Didn't see many when I was last there.... but that might be because I was in Venice

Like it!!!!!!!:bounce:
