Had a great weekend wheeling the 100. Came back with most of it, but lost my front Skid Plate to a rock... peeled it completely off so it's not salvagable.

I searched but didn't come up with any aftermarket front skids. Any ideas?

Thanks for any input.

Yeah...pretty amazing the 100 is 10-years old and not one aftermarket skid plate and belly pan available. Custom only right now. Sucks.

That's not what I was hoping to hear. Custom huh. Any custom jobs that could be repeated that anyone knows of?

I really don't want to replace the crap I had with new crap.

Sounds like a job for Slee! Something in lightweight aluminium?

Check this out, not sure if it is available in the USA.
ASFIR - VEHICLE ACCESSORIES

Interesting to see if we can get these stateside!

I talked to the guy that did my rear custo shock mounts here in Reno but it'd be a couple grand to do one-off front, t-case and belly pans! I'd actually like to have a front and belly pan made from 1/4" aluminum...another project for "the list"!

try Rasta4x4USA.com

Called, price is $430.00 we could get a discount if we started a group buy. Attached is a pic for the 120 landcruiser but it is of similar design. Service access to oil filter, 6 mm aluminum only weighs 29lbs, comes with stainless steel hardware and is a direct bolt-on no cutting or drilling needed.

Not associated with Roasta4x4USA, just wanted to pass along info I got.

I'll take one.

WOW

Most Cool!

Will they fit with the diff drop kit? Any fitment issues @ all with different years or anything??

Also, whats the difference between a 120? 125? and a 100?

Zane,

count me in if there is enough people for a group buy. I might even take two..

That would be difficult to change oil filter. Do you have to remove the whole front skid plate to get to it?

Budbuilt was willing to build a few years ago but could not get a test truck for fitting near his location in Lenoir, NC 28645

Hi,

I have the three Asfir skidplates under mine. Oil changes is not a problem, the plates has holes in them. The plates themselves are attached to two galvanized crossmembers that is bolted to the chassis .

I have my own diff drop installed, so I have decided to attack this the only way I know. Diving in with both feet. Starting out with a 4 foot square piece of T6061 1/8 plate. I'll take pictures as I go along. I'll be starting on this Monday or Tuesday.

Will it start at the front bumper or at the factory location?
How far back do you plan to take it?
