Windshield hold-down Bracket location (1 Viewer)

Can someone give me a measurement from the dash edge and top of the bracket that the windshield knob goes through? Previous owner removed them and I have replacement used brackets. I can see where the spot welds were but I not sure how high it needs to go.
Not sure if necessary but it is a 1972

I have a 72 but I have no idea what you need. IMHO the windshield hold down brackets are on the hood
