Transfer case question (1 Viewer)

i have several FJ40 transmissions and transfer cases. Is there an easy way to tell if the transfer case is for a 3 speed or a 4 speed transmission by looking at them?

Where you planning on telling me how? I bought a pile of land cruiser parts and the transmissions and transfer cases are disconnected.

there is athread on here some where that will tell you all that ,i dont know how to use the search function so you are on your own .it would take a whole page or more to explain what you want to know and a ton of typing
