Maybe way off base here, but I was told that the TH350 is a stronger unit than the 400...

If that be the case, I will stick with the 350.

OD will not be much of an issue as I will be pulling a trailer most of the time and Cali restricts trailers to 55mph.
 
why would I want to get rid of a perfectly good 350?


anyway, it is not going anywhere right now...


everything is all shiny and new up in there.

Top of the cowl, between the hood and the windshield. What is there? Sounds like nothing? A '73 would have had a vent there. Shine a flashlight up behind the switches in the middle of the dash and see what it looks like inside.

TH400 is stronger. A 1/2 ton would have come with a th350 and a 3/4 ton with a th400. It is plenty strong for this application.
 
How do you like those seats? I need to get some seats and harnesses for my 40 at some point.
 
What model are they? You said mastercraft something or other right?

Do you or batcon have a wide ass? I wear 36 breeches and don't need the sides of the seat pinching my hips/thighs.
