Always thought this guy/gal was reputable MUD vendor.

* Sept 30 2014 - I placed order on Sept 30 for a couple of speaker replacement covers for a 100. Got order confirmation email.
* Oct 6, since a week had gone by and no notice of shipping, I sent an email asking about delivery status. Got some mumbo jumbo about how they were just thinking about me and about to email because they needed to know what color I wanted since they had new colors. I told them to pick one and mail out asap.
*Oct 7-19 - no shipping notice, no communication. I sent multiple emails to sales@MetricTLC.com and PM asking about status of order with no returned messages.
* Oct 19 - Decided to end the oddness and sent Paypal notice of resolution dispute for non-receipt of items ordered. Also sent MetricTLC email of dissatisfaction and intent to cancel.

Really disappointed. Was getting my 100 ready to sell and needed new speaker covers in short order not some absentee seller.

SAME BS..I'm owed over $1k worth of interior for my 80...I came here to see if there were other issues and obviously there are...I too will be reporting and calling my CC to do a chargeback..
 
Oddly enough, I received what appears to be an automated notice of shipment email late last night. Still no direct professional courtesy reply email or PM to explain what's going on, why the delay, why no communication...

My guess is one of two options from here:
1 - we'll get no explanation and business will gradually return to normal, whatever that is
2 - he'll have a legit personal tragedy story that he's been dealing with and we'll all feel bad for posting these notes
 
Well I got an email last night stating he was on a hunt in the mountains and he just got signal. He assured me that my parts are in the dealers hands but he can't contact the dealer because he is on vacation too....I told him he had 24 hours to fix it or I'd be going the PayPal/CC dispute way too. I'm giving him one more benefit of the doubt and waiting until tomorrow when the dealer rep gets back into town...I truly do hope we are incorrect and it is just backlog but accepting large sums of money and then not fulfilling the order while not providing any form of communication will worry any client! I'm a biz owner and I do a lot of e commerce and I ALWAYS rush my orders out and if I can't I ALWAYS make contact to explain why! All of that and my average order is <$100 it's only cool and good biz.

NO CALLS...imagine that! Well it appears this guy is either a total fraud or he is such a bad biz person I'd never recommend him.

Read up on this guy, he has a story for everything. I'm not sure he has completely hosed anyone yet, but expect poor communication, little to no response and a bunch of BS excuses for everything.
 
Had the same issue(s) here - via LabRak.

Order #1 placed 12/26/13... exchanged multiple emails, until eventually the mount had to be "reshipped" after 1/16/14.

Order #2 placed 1/18/14... sent 5 emails over next 2 months, received one response, on 3/19, and refund after last e-mail on 4/15.

I had an issue with him, and his excuse was he got bit by a snake...even sent a photo of a thumb with bite marks in it!
His communication otherwise was practically nonexistent.
 
I am dealing with the same issue. ordered a leather kit for my 80 and it has been over a month. I have sent countless emails and texts and no response. I giving him a few more days if not I am calling my bank.

This guy has more excuses than there are hours in the day. If he is continually being so sick that he can't answer email/ pm's then he doesn't need to be in business.

I bought three 1FZ engine decals from him on eBay. Grand total of $9 I think. He sent me one. Contact.....nothing, contact....nothing, filed a claim with eBay and paypal....he sent me a keychain of a 40 bib and one more decal. What? Excuses excuses. I Would put garbage bags over my seats before I sent him money for a leather kit.

I made a post on mud how he had changed his eBay account name to avoid the bad feedback and his fanboi's here ran me down the road on a rail. I don't see him listed int he vendors section, maybe he lost his vendor status. He is just bad business. Nice products but bad business. Being Honest with people goes a long long way.

The Land Cruiser community is huge but it is also in a fish bowl.

Good luck to you guys getting sorted. There are other options out there.

Same crap for me. Total scammer. I paid by PayPal and it says the money was received and taken. So it appears they just have a front website with no actual merchandise and are just stealing people's money. Any of his little butt boys here want to give me some BS well, why don't you pay me what he owes me.
 
Well..... Looks like I'm going with a different mount for the HAM antenna. I don't like to smack-talk businesses however, LABRACK, you can add me to the list of customers that you have lost. I've been waiting since last december for 2 measley antenna mounts that I've waisted both time and money waiting for only to finally find out that there is no certain time for me to EVER expect to see these. I've been patient and willing to give them a chance, but my patience has limits. Thankfully I ordered them through another company so I will be getting a full refund. Too bad I'll never get back the hours of my life wasted in pursuit of finding out where my products are (or aren't). BLUF, LABRACK YOU SUCK and should just sell your business off to someone who can run it successfully!!
 
I posted this in other metric thread thought I share here to.Well I've been emailing metric for months and finally messaged him on Facebook about my my dead led headlights. Well I've gotten zero response from him like ever one else here. I got home today to this at more. Very weird but happy hope rest of you get what your owed.

He (Shane) hides behind everything. He will not answer calls, emails or texts. They (LabRak,Metric TLC,Shane Walters) owe us over $3300 now for 6 months. No product. No updates. Nothing. They have also kept money from other customers for months and have not given them anything as well. They have deleted all of the customers comments and now shut down their IG page. We will never recommend them. This is not the only time this has happened. We are taking them to court. He wanted this and asked for it. We are very forgiving but he does not give a sh-t!

There are also tons of threads where this is happening to a lot of folks. IHMUD,TW<Expedition Portal etc..
