There is an HJ61 in Austin? I'd like to check his rig out!

Is that the same cable giving you problems on the way to Big Bend?

So this is what happened. I have a lead foot.

See if they can weld in some angle iron on both sides to strengthen it.

It's back on the rig and Big Red is drivable again.

Do you put that kayak on the roof by yourself? Mine is a midget kayak compared to yours and it was not fun getting it on top by myself.

Only when i absolutely have to. I've done it once or twice. Mine is a 2.5 seater so I usually have Aurora or someone with me.

Mine is a 2.5 as well but the .5 would have to be a small dog at best. I had grand plans to use it all the time when I bought it. This is the second time in two years I will be using it.

Camping trailer?

Mike is a BIG OLE SOB!! He can handle it..

J
Yet nibble enough to walk all over Big Red and not put dents in it. No way I could do that on my 80.

Picked up this gem this morning.

It's a 1966 416 trailer. Negotiated two extra spare tires and a new stand. No rust thru holes just a bit of surface rust. Drove it home in 5th gear doing 70. The wheel bearings didn't even get warm.

The plan is to get a cover made for it to put my rtt on it. This way I can camp and kayak.

Anyway happy 4th to everyone.

Good score Mike! You going to spring it over?
