70 series front disc brakes into a 40? (1 Viewer)

HI all,

Search has turned up some interesting info, but not exactly what I need to know...

Am planning on putting disc onto my front axle. Have drums there now with the long spindle. Does any one know if the knuckle from a 70 series fits straight onto the 40 series axle the same way the mini truck /hilux knuckle does?

I have a set of 70 series knuckles in front of me right now ready to purchase so am desperate for an anseer of any one can help out

@Vossie i believe they interchange just like 60 series knuckles. The same bearing kit is used for 40, 60 and 70 series trucks. I took a short cut and installed the entire front axle in my 45 after a spring perch change.
