You are welcome. It was very nostalgic for me. 43 years ago I learned to drive in a 78 FJ55. The patina is deceiving, it is much cleaner than almost all the 55s I've seen. Very minor rust in the rear seat sill, everything else is immaculate in the floor. It is a great 55.
I thought it looked like a good little Pig!
Sorry/not sorry @gonzopancho ...

“I hear that 2F a-comin’,
It’s comin’ ‘round the bend,
It ain’t had the valves adjusted since I don’t know when,
Driver’s dropped it into third, foot mashed to the floor,
Eyes watering from exhaust fumes, bound for Pig Party 2024….”
Brilliant!!!

Mark dropped the tank to allow the ice blast and reseal to occur with the tank out.

Looks like a new tank of 28” x 30” x 10” is easy. This is 36.36 gallons, could go a bit bigger.

Thinking 33-38 gallons. Make brackets that hold the tank, so anyone can unbolt the stock one, bolt on the brackets and then a tank in from the bottom and be done.

Then figure out a simple skid plate, maximum 1-2" below the frame, if that.

Pump at the front under the stock access cover and bottom of tank angled to the front of the truck. 0.125” aluminum.
