Two punks stole my Locked 80 and flipped it. They were busted and so was the LC.

The funny part is they were running from the cops! They did not know about the tractor motor I have hidden below the hood. Anyway they were trying to make a high speed turn, I guess the failed to realize the dinamics of a fresh J spring lift and 315 STT's. Somehow they managed to do a 60mph 180 on pavement only to be flipped by the curb. My baby was not finished yet as she landed on her feet and begged for more!

Sad part is the the engine only had 82K miles. Insurance company will not understand the value of my baby, so I am screwed:crybaby:

The ARB seems unfazed by the incident.

Going to buy her back and make a full cage buggy. Or maybe I will just show up to Uwharrie with the current carnage and turn some heads with my reckless abandon. I finally wont have to worry about my rocker panels. I guess I wont have to order the sliders after all!

Wow, sorry to hear that. On the plus side, it will be sweet to have an 80 buggy. BTW, if you make it a buggy and no longer have any use for that ARB, I'd gladly relieve you of it.

One kid was 17 one 19 they somehow managed to get out and run. They forgot about the 17 year old girlfriend they send bouncing all over my back seat. I think she would have ran too- but she could not get the door open. She ratted the other two out like she never met them.

I had my Springfeild 40cal in my drawer system in the back. They had it in the front seat and loaded, with their slimy fingerprints all over it. Not to mention 3 gallons of booze that they bought with my money. Shouldnt I be legally obilgated to slap them to the ground? Life is not fair, but I guess his life is over now.

Kid got 9 felonys that night. And the civil case is only warming up. Thank god he lives with his parents- who probally deserve half the blame.
 
Not the best place to keep them then, is it...;)

Opps sorry...I misread the post . I thought Cruiser Dan had his stolen. Nonetheless..I gotta admit it takes a bigger man than I to admit to everyone he had spare keys INSIDE the vehicle ;-). Go get the pricks.

On the brightside she was my daily driver, cause the lady would never let me pulloff two rigs. Now I can have a truck and a narsty offroad convertible. I want to make my 80 resemble what Lance from Iron Pig has:

It would have been hard not to have wanted to murder all three of the kids and have tortured their parents. Do you have any recourse on the parents? :confused:

I can't imagine trying to out run somebody with an 80. Mine will do something like 0-60 in 13 seconds. A perfect vehicle for a slow speed chase like OJ's.
 
Gezz, that makes me ill. POS insurance companies never understand the value of vehicles like this or how hard it is to replace one.
 
I would definitely plan on filing a civil suit against the family. Get a couple of proffessional opinions about the true value for your rig. (Like from Cdan) You can collect the difference between the insurance settlement and that amount. Don't forget to add up the hours you have spent on your rig. I can easily justify $50 per hour for my time working on the truck. Rent a ferrari durring the time you are without a truck, make them pay. If you don't have sex with the wife for a month or two you can claim that. If you are afraid of teenagers as a result of this, you can claim that. Basically I am against the whole legal system. But I am sick of getting ripped off and seeing people ripped off and having to foot the bill! Screw them!
 
civil suit will fly no doubt. my lawyer reminds me though : "a judgment does not mean sh#t if they dont have anything". Hopefully the folks have jobs or at least some equity in the house!!

Anyone have any recomendations how to get the rig back from the insurance company? I have heard to ask for a owner retained title?

Hope they dont kill me too bad.
 
I hope the scum bags DIED! I have to hope that, because our f-d up judicial system wont do anything about them. Sorry for your loss.
 
Generally they will give you the option of buying it back (for scrap $)

I am very sorry for the situation, hopefully it will work out.

Amazing the ARB is intact! You should send pictures to ARB maybe they'll pay you to use it in their ads.
