I run the 315/75 r 16s and love them. Very impressive off-road and good road manners

Have 10000km on them and rotated once. Wear is excellent, noise level remains the same and best of all had some real heavy rains here and had to do mountain roads and it didn't miss a beat there. Off road they are fantastic in mud as they should be but its rocks and wet rocks that surprised me the most. In sand you have to air down but 25 to 20 has given me best results. I will buy them again when they wear out as to me they have been better compromise than the hybrid tires I had planned originally.

60 Hijack.

Been on these (35x12.5xR17) for about 25K now... Got them at 266/per on Amazon back in October of last year.
Running them on FJC 17x7 wheels.
Balanced.

Put them through heavy towing (v8'd cruiser), fully loaded mid summer desert heat, and sloppy winter mud 4 wheeling.
Never had a puncture or need to plug, or a mis-balance or shimmy.
JUST before install, did all my TRE's, knuckles, wheel bearings, brakes, and shocks/stabilizer.
Run about 35-40psi.

All told; they're fantastic. Probably at 65-70% tread as of today (can't find my depth gauge, but will if anyone wants 'em)

I am seriously considering a set of these tires. Could anyone measure a set of the 315's on the vehicle. I don't want to pull the trigger and end up with another 315 that measures 33" on the vehicle. I previously ran Nitto's trail grappler mud terrains in a 315 and they measured 34 1/4" mounted new, the Toyo rt's I am currently replacing only measured 33 1/8" when I mounted them new. I have been very unimpressed with the toyo's. They have lots of flat's, delivered poor traction, struggled to balance, chunked, split, & only lasted for about 32,000 miles.
Thanks

Thanks, but I know how to google and read. This image was already posted and I have spent hours comparing tires online.

I am looking for an actual measurement of the tire MOUNTED ON A FJ80. The mounted diameter of a tire is usually different than the overall diameter listed by the manufacturer. TOYO says the RT's in a 315 are 34.6" and they only measured 33" new once they were mounted.

Again, I am wondering if anyone can physically. Measure one of these tires in a 315 while it is mounted and underneath an 80 series cruiser.

Thanks

Im looking at these Yokos or KM3's in 315-75-16....someone talk me into one of these....

Price wise the Yokos are a lot cheaper than the KM3s

I like the size of the Yokohama better in the 315 they are alittle narrower and and a little taller. They wear real even aswell. Both are great tires and I’ve ran both I like the Yokohama better personally

Every 315 tire I've owned has always measure about 34.5" on the OEM wheels when new, Toyo included. Your request is a little hard unless someone has a new set right now but you should indicate OEM wheels or if a different wheel width is preferred. Also your reference to "FJ80" is a little confusing as the OEM wheel is a 15" and would not call for a 315. I'm sure that was just a typo based on your sig line.

I can't help with these new G003's as mine are 37's. But they measured true to spec on 9" wide wheels off the truck. (unweighted)

I just ordered a set of 4 in the 315-75-16 G003...I'll give a review when installed...

Not 315's but just for some sort of gauge.. my 295/70/17's are advertised as having a 33.5 overall diameter and when not mounted i would agree but with 38-40 psi and weight on them I am measuring around 32.5" i have around 1000-1500 miles on em so far and i am very satisfied with the quietness of the tires and their traction in the snow and rain and pavement.
