Spoke to the REF again. So the LS3 Erod I have can accept a EO# whipple due to the early build date and will pass CA SMOG. If there are any issues I'll just register it with my Trail Tailor LLC in Montana and all good.
Pulled the Whipple and LS3 (2021 build date with RED GM EO# label-- this is one way to tell if your LS3 Erod crate engine is grandfathered in for CA SMOG- IF BLUE, a no go until new paperwork is accepted). I bought this Whipple to go on my Dingo rig and been sitting on the shelf with another one for about 2 years. So blow the dust off and get this party started.
While not needed per Whipple... I'm adding an intercooler as well.
